World War Weird - Story Generator
I seem to have failed to make a 'game' for this gamejam, but I made a fun map-gen and history-gen tool which is heavily inspired by Dwarf Fortress's Legends Mode.
Click around the map to see what happened there or geographical information, you can also click "History" to read the whole history of the island. I've included a New Story button for convenience, but be warned - there is no undo button and your island and all its events will be lost.
Made in less than 3 hours for Godot Rumble #0~
Design and programming by delphonso.
Music by the excellent Parker Walker who, in a fit of creative madness, sat down for an hour and a half and made the background track.
Special shoutout to candlelocks for help with mapgen.

It would be great if you would work on that in the future. And what surprised me were the UFO records (what was really going on at the time)
I'll likely bring elements of the design and code into other projects, but the topics and events might be left behind, for now. Still, you might consider running a one-shot of a tabletop game with this as the setting!
